Some quotes i came up with

"Life is only fair at the end where Death waits to escort us to the other side."

"Life is not about what you do, what you say or what you wear. Life is about what you are made of."

Finally,

"Take not the trodden highway but the little game trail you see leading off."

I feel that life is all but fair. Sometimes we lose, sometimes we gain. Take me for instance, sure, i failed in some subjects, but the the hey? I finally started on a project which i can fall back on to entertain myself. Now, ive rekindled a new interest in learning, which makes my work go faster, better, smoother than the rest.

Take a break from life. For that is the best way to relax.

-Rivalry-

"Duck."

"What?" Jeslyn looked at Yan Lei. A lighted sparkler whistled past her head.

She whirled around, only to see Mycoft and his little gang, he himself holding a lighted sparkler.
"Hello Jes."

"What are you doing here? Playing with candles?" She added a tone of mockery at her last word.

"Mycoft growled angrily. Together, as though of one mind, the other gang members took a step back. Their rivalry was well known by all. Even Yan Lei took a step back.

Within the entire school's history, there probably wasn't a larger rivalry between the two. Every single day, or so he had heard, they competed in everything, it was made even easier to do so as they were of the same year. The same class.

Mycoft was stocky, well muscled and furthermore a perfect balance between speed and strength. The highest form of an alpha male. But this time, his snarl wasn't his usual. Yan Lei thought. Probably reserved for Jeslyn only.

For some fact, if they had been together, they probably would have made history by being the best paired couple in the entire school. But then again, they chose to fight, compete. Maybe over some entrenched issues buried deep within their hearts.

"If saying so, then why are you here too?"

"For my younger brother, here."

Mycoft rose an eyebrow. "Little brother...?" Then caught sight of Yan Lei. "Oh him. The little rebel."

"Yes, so?"

"Nothing, it just makes one wonder, if you had a relation like that? What would that make you? Likely like him. Rude. Uncouth."

Jeslyn gritted her teeth, knowing Mycoft had won. He too, looked back smugly at her, ready for the reply that would never come.

"Lets go Yan Lei."

For once, he followed her without much comment, quietly plodding alongside yet still a little behind as he allowed her to lead the way out of the park. Each step she place down accentuated her fury at her recent loss.

Yan Lei remained silent, Her mind was probably scheming away at a plan to humiliate Mycoft, something that if interupted, would have rather serious consequences for the irritant.

Although not sure of the exact details, however, from what he had heard, their rivalry went back for a long time. Maybe even during primary school.

Yan Lei shivered. That kind of rivalry wasn't to be trifled with, even more so that even till now, it was extremely intense. He could, for instance, ask anyone within the school or had been in the school and they would immediately know what and who was behind it. In fact, it was so violent that even the student body had split up into two different fractions, each under their own leader.

No doubt, those two were the best the school had ever seen, perhaps would ever see. Two titans, clashing.

Even though the night was warm, Yan Lei shivered again.

As you can see, im currently not posting.. not that it matters anyway. But thats another story for another day. Life is good, im amazingly carefree nowadays, which is a rather big improvement as for someone who exits the room without asking.. ok, not without, asking but not waiting for a reply...
